Luke Wright

Returns to The Lens Studio on his sell-out 2026 tour

His shows are frenetic, passionate and comic – poetry as entertainment. In Later Life Letter he confronts his adoption as a baby, the birth mother he never met, and the adoptive parents who loved him telling their and his story.

In a series of poems which are funny, informative, frank and raw, he tells his personal story and teaches us about love, frailty, pain and the unknowing forces that shape lives.

Poetry may often move us, but it is rare for poems to bring you to tears. Later Life Letters is a notable collection with magnificent empathy. His performance of it should not be missed.

His words have weight, warmth and wit!

And if they don’t touch you, you might want to check your pulse.
